Hello, today i open up a motorcycle cdi unit, the circuit is simple for the spark plug, but what is NXP P89LPC915 component used? there no much google can help. Can NXP P89LPC915 used as ignition cut off?

I simply put in the part number and the 4th thing down was this
That should be more than enough to get you started

I suppose it could be used for ignition cut off, but you would have to reprogram it, and still add a button of some sort

Yes there a lot of datasheet, but need someone to explain on how it work, compare to other component google help to much, like circuit, picture, many people discuss and explain, but P89LPC915 little discussion about this component through internet.

Are have used this component? what software and programmer do you used to progra,LCP915?
