Nordic track audiorider r400

This is my wife's workout bike and the batteries corroded in the holders so I took it apart, cleaned it up and it works but there's no sound, it used to beep when buttons we're pushed and had voice guided workouts. You could also connect an iPod for music but no sound at all. Everything else seems to work. I checked and the speakers are fine, it all runs through the main board so something is wrong on the board possibly. I was hoping to find a schematic?

A quick check I get about 612uf. It's actually a 6.3v 1000uf so I'm gonna see if I can find one.

Well I'll replace this capacitor and if it still has no sound the she'll have to use it with no sound. I wish Radio Shack was still here but everything else works so it is what it is. Thanks for the reply 73's de Edd.

I got a capacitor from a TV repair/friend and soldered it in, no change so I'll try to test some voltages around the audio amplifier ic.

Ok, set to high volume, read the voltage on pin 5,in no voltage its good, then read volume on pin 7,if no voltage thats bad,use dc power 5v and put positive to pin7 and neutral to ground pin 1

I'll try to do it tonight, there is no volume adjustment on this, for audio when you push a key on the keypad it should beep which it doesn't and if I play music through the input cable all the volume is used on the device I'm using so I have to turn the MP3 player up louder to get more but when I plug it in the music stops playing on the MP3 player and should be coming through the speakers but there's no sound. Everything else seems to work on the keypad and display except the audio.
