New to this. I need a component that uses a small signal to control a high power line.

I've looked a MOFETs and Op Amps, but I don't think either of them fits.

Is there a component that can switch a 30V, 2A signal on and off using a digital signal that switches on and off? An AND gate that outputs only the higher voltage signal? I don't know what I'm looking for.
