Hi All:
I had a cool find today. An electronics warehouse in my neighborhood had a
new Samsung HPC-4752W RPTV suffer a fatal accident. I don't know exactly
what happened, but the screen and upper cabinet was mashed in a big way. I
managed to get ahold of the lower end. It's all new. AFAIK, it's complete
excepting one of the perimeter sensors that attaches to the upper end (
autofocus sensors? ). Even got the remote and owner's manual. I plugged in
a VCR and it lights, makes sound, makes images in the tubes.
Now - what to do with it? I'm thinking that this would be a great repair
parts donor. Or maybe a good chassis to swap into a totally defunct tv.
Anybody here interested in this chassis? I was thinking about eBay, but I
think it would be better to place this into the hands of someone who knows
what he / she is doing. I don't have a clue what it's worth, so I'll leave
value to be dictated by your honest offer.
Please reply to the group or e-mail to the altered e-ddress below. You know
what to change......
