Need to replace capacitors in my Audio interface, a little advice please

HI

Have a Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 audio interface and 4 of the caps are bulging.

They are 100uf 25v and made by Jamicon and have the number D 16 CD on them.

Looking at Jamicons site, I think I'm correct in saying the CD means Low impedance, Long life

Would any 100uf 25v Capacitor do, or do I need to make sure they are a certain quality?

For example, will these from Maplins do the job?

http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/100f-25v-85c-radial-electrolytic-capacitor-vh37s

or looking at CPC this page has loads, Mot sure which to choose

its the first 4 caps of the group of 12 in the attached pic

Many thanks

Sure they're 100uF? - it's normally power supply (rail regulation) capacitors that bulge and 100uF seems small to be suffering this kind of issue.

Have you checked elsewhere in the equipment for similar issues?

Look for low ESR capacitors having a 105C (temperature) rating. They are generally better spec than the 85C devices - won't harm or change the circuit operation but may last longer over time.

Many thanks.

I bought it cheap off ebay for spares/repairs as the previous owner said it works but he had to use a mixer to boost the inputs but he says it could be software related, and having owned this model in the past, I know the software mixer (the routing) is confusing enough to make a few people think their units are faulty.

As there's 4 bulging caps right by the inputs (well actually they are by the first left and right outputs, but I'm presuming he had his speakers/amp wired here), I thought it a good place to start (yes I'm an amateur but learning :) ) All other caps are fine.

Just ordered these

Looked at various datasheets for various ones, and used google, but struggling to work out which are low ESR. Nut the ones I've ordered are 105C

Many thanks for your time, much appreciated

Yes the Panasonic FM series is very low ESR, not extremely low by today's standards but a cost effective part for the application.
