I am relatively new to electronics and microcontrollers, but fairly experienced in programming. I have project I am working on that requires the following components:
power supply that can power all of the following...
programmable microcontroller (full package)
a laser diode driver (8.2V, current draw around 1.3A)
4 bipolar stepper motors (10V, 500mA each)
a strong computer case fan (7-12V, 0.5 to 1A)
photo sensor input (photointerrupter)
There are so many different options out there, it is a little confusing. What do I need to make all these work together? The parts and circuits must take up as little room as possible, and keeping cost low is nice. I need everything except for the laser diode driver.
What I "think" I want to use for that:
Prewired Modded 1.5A Microboost Driver For 445nm Didoes
Close Alternative:
FlexModP3 driver (adjustable and more versatile, but also more that I could mess up)
Thanks in advance for everyone's help and suggestions
