Need help selecting power supply and motor controller

Hi all,

I'm working on a project and I need a power supply and motor controller for a 12V DC motor powered pump. I'm located in Canada and have limited time to test the pumps so any power supply or motor controller suggestion should be localized to Canada, if possible, or from sources with quick lead times to Canada.

If anyone can recommend any reputable 12V DC power supplies and motor controllers in which I can alter the rpm of the 12V DC motors on the pumps, please let me know ASAP. Need to narrow down some options quickly.

I really appreciate any help.

Hello,

What are the specifications of the motor?
That information is needed to choose the correct power supply.

The first motor, the information I can find is 12V DC, 80 mA, 5000 rpm.
The second motor, the information I can find is 12V DC, 400mA.

Hello,

You can use a 12 Volts 1 Amp or more as powersupply.
You will have to take the stall current in account, wich can be much higher (even upto 5 times) than the running current.
For speed control, you can use the board that @Bluejets showed.

Can you link an example for the power supply?

The board Bluejets linked does not post to Canada so it will not be suitable unfortunately.
