John here. I am trying to build a simple 12v dc harness for connecting running lights on a motorcycle. I want to make this harness so simple that any person can hook it up and have no problems. The additional running lights LED 6 watt 12v dc I want to get 12v dc power from the high and low beam head light or just one. What I need is a circuit that will prevent over load to the 12v LEDs if a motorcycle uses both bulbs when high beam selected and I need to prevent 12v back flow through the high beam or low beam bulb which ever is switched off.
I need to make this a simple hookup for my riders that buy my parts. Many do not have any experience with any kind electrical. So I would like to have them connect two wires to the headlight and they cannot go wrong. Any help would be appreciated. email me at [email protected]
