Need help building a servo powered device.

Hey guys I want to make a device that is powered by a strong servo and that is wireless. I have this really cool invention that I want to create, but I have zero experience with electronics. Could one of tell me what to buy and or a digram of everything connected?

They're the unit that torque is measured in. Newton metres (there are other more archaic measures like foot pounds too.)

JRG, people are trying to help but you should give more information. Do you want to spin your half a pound? Do you want to move it up & down? Do you want to spin AND move?

Unfortunately the "real" stuff does not come ready for just hooking up. If you need something simplest to put together, you should look at something like Snap Circuits for your prototype. (and no, I am not trying to fool with you)

It's kind of funny to ask for help building a (relatively) complex electronic device when you can't grasp a concept as simple as torque. Well, at least it seems funny to me...
