So you are supplying a piece of wood and we are building you a surfboard.

This is a topic far too broad for a forum post. You need to nail down a budget, size, weight, required speed, and consider what parts are available to you in India.

Surely there is a forum in India for people making electric boards? That would help you a lot, knowing what parts are available and following designs others have produced, then once you have a working prototype you can decide what you want to change.

Sort of defeats the purpose of a surf board having to power it in some way.
Sadly, I don't think your idea will take off.
