My philips master and slave inverter repair

Help!! I have a Philips 42'' flat screen, paid an arm and leg for somebody to tell me the inverter is gone, he showed me the pin whole and asked for another $300 to fix it. Well I found it at Encompass for $185 (2 parts-master and slave). it should be arriving any day. IS THIS AN EASY INSTALL PROCESS???...CAN'T AFFORD TO HAVE THIS GUY BACK BUT WORRIED i'M OVER MY HEAD, HAS ANYBODY EXPERIENCED THIS? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED

The pin whole? What does this mean? You're replacing the entire inverter? If you're just swapping a PCB out, shouldn't be too tough.

Beware any high voltage lurking in/around caps, etc.

Being a non technical person I'm assuming the master and slave is a PCB, it's a two piece
part, I think it's plug and play but not sure...
