MSP432 programming

Hi all,
Just got started with Texas Instruments MSP432P401R development board. The problem that I face is the register level programming in code composer studio which is tough to understand...to be specific I am unable to understand the timer and interrupt part of programming.I have also downloaded books for these but none of them explain it in a way a beginner would understand.If any of you have experience with register level programming , please guide me.

Thanks for sharing this document. It was really helpful. I think you have shared only the timer and interrupt part of the book. If you can, plz share the full book. I didn't get any easy guides like this..
