Hi All,
New Member here, hopefully you can help me out, I am involved in a little project for the kids, we have made a small truck for the kids to drive around, the opportunity came up to get a second hand electric wheelchair nice and cheap, thinking it wouldn't be too hard to get it to work..... wrong
the controller is riddled with safety features and of something is not 100% it will not work, i have given up trying to hack into the 'joystick' controller and i'm looking at possibly using an Arduino to send a signal straight to the H-Bridge on the motor controller, after all the other parts of the controller.
we have 2 motors installed and want to only control them together with forward and reverse.
i have started at the end and am trying to work backwards,
24v
i have drawn on what i have figured out so far, (this is not how the actual tracks run obviously, just how i have determined them to be connected) the hold up is i have found a couple of components i cannot identify, (the blue and green ? , components circled in the next pic)
i cannot find out what this is, JM23AB, appears to be made by National Semiconductor
the mosfets are 3PN0402, i also noticed that they are all N channel, (most diagrams i have found have had 2 N Type and 2 P Type?)
This is the info on one of the motors, don't really understand a lot except its 24v, if anyone can let me know what the 10,5A means, that would be great.
I'm hoping to tap into the H bridge and use what i already have, this unit is in a nice weatherproof enclosure and will fit nicely onto the truck.
I'm happy to de-solder any unneeded components and tap into where needed, im hoping i can get away with adding in a couple resistors and tap in the Arduino or something to get the motors turning.
thank you for hanging in there, all help is greatly appreciated, and if any more info is needed, please ask.
Troy,
