mini builtin amp for Bass Guitar

I am looking for a simple amplification circuit I can build into my new Bass Guitar kit,
:D
SCHEMATIC AND WIRING DIAGRAM PLEASE!
:p
It doesn't have much room in the electronics pack so it can't be very large. It doesn't have to be stereo, battery power a plus, 1.5v aaa would be incredible!

Any ideas?

hi there

are you wanting the amplifier to go to a speaker ?

what sort of power level out do you want ? 0.5W, 1W 10W ????

you are not going to get any reasonable operation with a 1.5V battery

There's not much room inside a bass guitar, even if you hollow out more of the wood. You might squeeze a headphone amplifier in there, running off some Lithium cells, but not a speaker amplifier (unless you provide power externally).

If you want a practice system, it's possible to build a headphone amplifier into a pair of headphones (you need headphones with some air space inside them) so you can plug your headphones straight into the bass.
