Miditron interface - touch sensor

Hi

I need to use Miditron, a sensor-to-MIDI interface, in an art project.

Since I have no experience in electronics, could someone please tell me if this touch sensor is compatible with the Miditron interface? If not, are there any other touch sensors that are compatible with Miditron?

Would I have to expose the cables of the above sensor in order to connect it to the Miditron interface terminal strips?
