Looking for recommendation

Hi all,

I am looking for recommendations on how am i suppose to go about with this project. I would like to use thermal sensors which can do certain tasks. Please do tell me if its viable to create and which components should i go for.

Task that the thermal sensors are able to do:
1. mapping out a room
2. give Real time Update of temperature of the person/object.
3. Able to track

that's some serious requirements, even for me with 50 years of electronics background

Hi Daven, im a university student trying to mimic something that i had in mind. One of the reasons is also because i couldnt find anywhere on the net something similar to this unless its a military tech. but im just trying to make it applicable to normal environment use such as house or buildings or carparks.
