Looking for LCD Adapter/Converter

I recently found an old car DVD player lying by the side of the road, I took it apart and now have an 8" CCFL LCD panel which I'd like to use with my raspberry pi. The only issue is that it has a 26 pin connector and I cannot find any LCD to HDMI adapters that would work.
Does anybody know if such a product exists or how I could make one and what I would need to do it?

I am not sure what you want is possible. For example in TV's there are special boards (Tcon boards) that drive the LCD's.
Ive never heard of direct connection of HDMI-LCD.

Sorry, I don't think I was clear enough. I meant a board that drives the lcd using hdmi as the input. I have found many of these but none of them support a 26 pin ribbon connector.
