Looking for ECU circuit diagrams ...

Spend a huuuuuge amount of time googling the various ECUs people want me to repair ...
But I could really use some of the circuit diagrams.

Has anybody here come across these?

Any ideas wouldbe helpful.

:D

I presume you are referring to engine management units for cars etc
seems to be something that manufacturers and licenced vehicle dealers keep very close to them :(

I used to have some old Saab ones (like pre-1994), but thats about it... and honestly, they were kinda hard to read (partly in Swedish, and the quality of the PDF was not fantastic). In general though... yeah its hard to find, due to the proprietary nature.

I thought as much. Thought it might be worth seeing if anybody knew where to find 'em though :)
It's a pain working on them with nothing to help.

You don't say what brands of ECU's you get in for servicing. I'm sure you have used Google extensively but here's a nice homepage - with links to other pages as well.

I'm getting all kinds from mechanics at the mo' mainly Bosch but hey :p

I'm only really dealing with the actual board and components, haven't really learned programming and the like yet.

Cheers for that page though :D Looks mighty interesting.

I'm a hardware guy myself (tho I dabbled with programming at school) but I've managed to reprogram an old GM ECU EPROM somewhat to better suit my engine.
There are links to sites with schematics (mostly GM) but I'm afraid there's not been much enthusiast hacking done on Bosch ECU's (or anything but GM for that matter).
