looking for a easy project for beginner

im looking for a easy fun project for a beginner any body got any ideas

Get some 555 timer chips, some LEDs, a few 4015s and 4017s as well as some capacitors and resistors...

There area a number of projects you can whip up with those parts, and you start to get an understanding of some of the basics...

ive been doing some research and i think i have decided to build a resistance box. it seams like a easy project and i think it would help considerably on my future projects
