Logitech 540 Voice keeps dropping off

Hi everyone I am having a issue with My Mic
It drops off voice in the control panel
I go to recording devices then mic properties for the level it is off
I turn it on
It works for 2 min then off again
I had someone come look at it
They have NO clue is any one here that can give me a clue please

Does this happen with another mic on the same PC, too? If so, it may be a driver issue. Have you tried updating the audio drivers?
Does this happen with this same mic on another PC, too? If so, it is probably an issue with the microfone. I can hardly imagine what defect could cause such a behavior.

I have one mic used it for 4 years no issues until yesterday. I did windows 10 up date today that didn't help. I did up date in 10 /2016

I did go and get me a new mic the same one thinking it was messed up.

I have tried up dating a lot but not the driver because he said it was done in oct 2016

This is the first time I have seen this but a friend said hers is doing the same after a SKYPE up date but mine has not up dated

I'm sorry, I see no way to help you by remote diagnosis.
You may try to uninstall the current audio driver completely and have windows find a new driver. You're probably better off asking someone who can help you with physical access to your computer - unless someone else here on this forum has a good idea.

Hello I would like too tell you the issue was resolved In my pc I had 5 virus downloaded form skype Mic virus ty for your help yesterday
