LED Tail lights

Hello
I need a device that will trigger on 12v dc and release at 6 v dc
Really hope someone could help.
Im not that good at electronic

The least complicated way would be to use a 12 volt relay and put a resistor in series with the coil so it pulls in at 12 volts yet cuts out at 6. You may find one that doesn't need a resistor.
