Model S18602 is a remote controlled pedestal mount fan that is not working, no LEDs lit or fan action.
Power is getting to the board and the 5V supply is being generated, but every pin of the CMS69F113 chip is reading 5V except the ground pin 16, so i suspect the chip is blown. i don't recognize the logo and coming up empty on finding a datasheet. The board is made by SOUNDS, which appears to be Zhuhai Sounds Electric Co., Ltd., and is marked with PN: 2033967.
The chip has 5 pins that drive the gates of the triacs to switch power thru the windings to vary the speed, and 5 pins to sink current for the LED. There is an IR led for the remote, and a momentary switch in the potentiometer. Not sure if this is some sort of custom programmed chip or a custom ic just for this board, and where to find a replacement? Or maybe just replace it all with a simple switch?
