Is there a way of feeding power FROM a laptop battery thru a house ac cable INTO anot

like some type of two way battery charger that will feed power OUT of the laptop battery? or a step up transformer package?
I know that this is unusual and that charging appliances from small batteries is difficult wastes time and power etc., etc., want to do it anyways for a special reason, I have a large item charges off a house socket and want to charge it from my laptop battery while camping.
anybody help? much thanks if so

It's conceptually simple, but practically there are some problems.

Basically all you do is power a couple of switchmode regulators from the laptop battery. Each is set to the voltage required for the particular device. Many devices can be charged from USB,so 5V is going to be a particularly popular voltage.

The complications are:

1) you need to be VERY careful not to over-discharge the battery
2) you need to be able to connect to the battery
3) you need to be able to charge the battery.

The laptop itself normally does 1, 2, and 3, but you don't want the additional drain of the laptop being powered, so you need to figure out solutions to 1 & 2 that do not preclude the use of the laptop itself to recharge the battery.
