iPad problem, Please help

I have an iPad 2 the whole screen lights up but the touch screen only works at the top of the screen

I would say there was something wrong with your screen. Why don't you contact apple tech support?

don't get your iPad screen fixed at one of the little phone repair places at the shopping centers like i did as it completely voids the warranty of your iPad
