Hi,
New member here, and new to simple electronics projects as well. Currently two project underway, one is an Arduino/bluetooth digital readout- the other is for a larger heat-cure coating oven I'm building.
I have a PID controller for the heating element- which is straightforward enough, but I got fancy and wanted to interface a dual digital timer with it. Problem (aside from my near zero electronics experience) is that the instructions for the timer were translated from "whatever" to something that only resembles English. Unfathomable. I know "normally open", "normally closed" and "common", but can't figure out their connections to the controller.
I know these digital timers are capable of many different tasks- but I just need it to turn the oven off after a pre-determined time after reaching the set-point temperature if possible.
There is a SSR (25 amp) to provide voltage to the heating element.
I can easily understand a simple schematic that says "connect this to that", but I'm lost on this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry about the size of the pics...
