Induction motor repair

Hello,

Iv bought a machine with induction motor, who worked only few hours (20h of active work). I tried a bit hard to cut a too hudge piece of steel that maid the motor fail and fumes. The chimical smelling of the fumes doesn t look like coming from the capacitor. So I donno what can it be or what shud I try or even where shud I start searching. Please any clue or advise is welcome I have realy too poor experience in repairing!!

I assume the motor does not run now?
If so you may have cooked it.
Apparently there was incorrect safety fusing/overload protection!
If the smoke is coming from inside the motor it probably needs a rewind/new motor.
