hey Gang
need to increase the output of a +12V reg (7812) to ~ 13V
Is there any real hassle just using a resistor in the GND lead to the 0V rail ... ie. lifting that pin above 0V ?
rather than the more common arrangement of 2 resistors... one from output to GND pin and another from GND pin to 0V rail
have seen both arrangements in various www sites
It seems to work well with just the 1 resistor... a 220 Ohm gives me 13.2V output
