In the land of 120v and 60Hz
I had no idea what a decent set of lights could do. The upper set where
the ceiling meets the wall are T8's, while the under cabinet are modular
T5's.
Despite being fluorescent the light seems softer and more pleasant.
Every zit, scar, pimple, I had since birth doesn't show up as easily
under these lights. With the 1970's era T12 magnetic ballasts over the
years we tried all sorts of brands of lamps they said they were soft
pleasant light. All bullshit.
The T8 lamps (bulbs?) were the cheapest I could find and they're perfect.
Is that one of the reasons T8s were invented? Is this just an effect of
the newer technology?
