Hi,

can someone please tell me how big (in dbc) are the harmonics and the
spurious non-harmonics ? If this is depended on the frequency range in
the case of the 8640b signal generator plaese be specific to what
frequency rnage you are refering. Thank you very much in advance !

From the 8640B manual :

Harmonics: (on IV, +10 dBm, output range and below)

35 dB below fundamental of 0.5 to 128 MHz
30 dB below fundamental of 128 to 512 MHz.

Subharmonic and Nonharmonic Spurious: (excluding
frequencies within 15 kHz of carrier whose effects
are specified in Residual AM and FM): >100 dB
below carrier.

Not too bad...
