Hi, there.
I want to test it out with a circuit. And I have a few questions
1. I only have a 12V switching power supply, not 15V. Is it possible to use a 12V power supply?
2. I want to use CD40106 for the IC in the picture, 2N2222 for NPN, and 1N5819 for the diode. There should be no problem, right?
3. How to choose the PNP transistor in the picture? It seems that the requirements are relatively high. Please recommend a commonly used one; I am going to buy it on Taobao.
And here is the detailed product article for your reference if you need it.

The book says that the switch tube should choose a device whose steady-state collector current's maximum rating is greater than 21mA, and the transient collector's maximum rating is greater than 210mA.
A transistor with a maximum rating of collector and emitter voltage are greater than 15.3V.
Looking forward to your suggestion.
Yours sincerely,
TS
