If you invert and add the power line, be prepared for huge currents. Thousands of Amos should be available. You are guaranteed to blow a fuse.

Or are you talking about converting the voltage to a signal with a high impedance source first?

Since I'm completely uncertain what you want to do, I'm really just sitting in the dark.
