Greetings All, I am the owner of a small home and going to buy a security
system for it. The area I live in has been reasonably secure but things may
be changing. within 3 blocks a halfway apartment type housing units for
substance abusers, sex offenders, and anger management types is being built.
Thats fine BUT-- I have concerns about the small percentage of those that
may chose to return to the "old" ways of the recent past. My concern is for
my safety, my property, ect. Anyway could use some advice in selecting a
system. Live in a corner house with power lines on 2 sides, This would
interfere with a wireless system? It does interfere with radio. The weather
here can be cold -40, interfere with outside sensors? Just need a local
system for the house -yard. You know to give me time to get to the old S&W.
Monitor type w outside camera would be good for back yard. Probably one with
a panic button/s. In short a perimeter/ house system. Good ones? Rip offs?
