I'm pretty new to hardware design and I am having a tough time finding a push button switch that does what I want.
Here's what I want it to do:
Refer to the picture I have below. (pretend its not a DIP switch)
When the button is pushed, pins 1/4 are connected as a pair and pins 2/3 are connected as a pair. (the pairs are not connected together)
When the button is in its unpressed state, none of the pins are connected.
If anyone has any idea of what kind of push button switch has these capabilities, please let me know!
