help with sony laserdisc player model MDP-605

Hello I've got a problem with a sony laserdisc player model MDP-605.
Whenever I play a laserdisc the audio is okay but the picture is bad, it
scrolls, changes color. If I play an audio cd it's fine. I'm thinking it
might be an ic chip or something.

It's impossible to say without looking at it and taking some measurments,
and it's one of those cases where if you have to ask you won't be able to
fix it yourself and you'll likely just make it worse. Take it to a pro,
there's people who still specialize in fixing LD players. Once you've poked
around in it yourself no tech in his right mind will touch it, seems the
first thing people do is fiddle with every possible adjustment.
