Help with 74ls373 Octal latch circuit

L

Leo

I am using a 74ls373 to drive six analog switches. My configuration is
pretty simple; 6 momentary switches with one side of their contact to +5V
and the other side the to the D inputs of the latch. A diode comes from each
of the six switches that combines at the LE pin, and the LE pin is pulled
low.

The circuit works OK except for one important operation. I need output #1
to be "high" when the power to the circuit is applied.

My question is how to preset an input so that output #1 will be "on" with
power-up.

Many thanks.
