Hi,
I have recently purchased a TV off ebay that needed some fine fettling cosmetically (it had been dropped at some point)
My first mistake was not testing the TV when I bought it, nor before I removed the casing to repair it.
I have sourced my problem to a fuse on a PCB. I did Electronic engineering many many years ago at a college and whilst my soldering skills are still up to it, my memory of components has somewhat slipped a little.
Can any identify this fuse please: (only markings are P S A, (H) JET 5A)
Is it a thermal 5A 250v fuse? I can't any online that match this one in terms of looks (the TV was manufactured in 2009)
I have bypassed with 5a fuse wire and got the TV working, so i'd like to source and fit one to the pcb correctly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Dan
