Glad to join the board! I am an amateur in this area but learning quickly.
My main skill set is in UX/UI design and I am currently the senior designer at a startup in McLean, VA.
I'm learning electronics and systems via my love for music. I've started putting together guitar amps from various sources such as prebuilt harnesses but also re-purposing radios and other items which is where I've started to run into issues I just can't figure out.
Checked a couple of places and the answers I read here led me to feel that this is good forum to join and work with.
Eventually I plan on building some old school synth projects but for now it's going to be small stuff.
