Hi all..
Have a couple of 120w solar panels that were hooked up to a small grid tie inverter.. Have now connected one to a couple of 12v leaisure batteries which I use to power lighting in my workshop.. Had been monitoring the batteries and they seem to be almost fully charged before the sun comes up.
My question is, will it be possible to charge the batteries, and when they hit full charge, bleed the excess power back into the grid tie inverter? Have noticed mention of a controller that does this in USA but can find nothing here in the UK.. Happy to have a go at building one if that is the way to go..
