Someone gave me a Sidekick 1 with a three digit password and (obviously) no
information of his I want to keep. He didn't give me the password.
Entering three digit codes until you hit the right one seems to be a
laborious business involving
turning off the unit and rebooting every four tries. There doesn't seem to
be a way of automating it.
Is there some reset procedure so that I can get it working please? Can it
be accessed through Linux to delete the file containing the three digits?
(No one on the VoiceStream n/g had any idea beyond the OS is tightly locked
down)
