I recently purchased a home that has a Napco Gemini P3200 system installed. The previous owner did not use it, and it was installed by a contractor "on the side", whereabouts now unknown. I was hoping to activate the system for use, not necessarily with a central service monitoring. Anyway, I have the manual and keypad instructions, but when I power up the system, it scrolls through eight zones 01-08, and then says "zones faulted". I tried to reset the panel through a reset code I found through Googling, but no use. The Master Code is on the processor can, so if I can figure out why it is faulted I hope to be able to program the unit. Can anyone offer where to start checking the panel or how I can test for continuity on the zones to find out. Does anyone know how to use the "fault-find" option?
