Ethernet on fiber

M

Marco Trapanese

Hi,

I know is easy to carry ethernet signals on two optic fibers (100BASE-FX).

I'm wondering if one may do the same thing on only one fiber. If so what
do I need? I'm looking for small circuits, not expensive and big
commercial converters.

Thanks

One method is to use a Wavelength division multiplexing, basically
combining, optically, two signals of different colours. It can be
expensive, e.g.
