Anyone know how to get in to a PC1565 panel with installer lock-out ?

Just moved in to a house, with a PC1565 tried defaulting the panel, but it
seems it has the lock-out feature enabled and the security company that
installed it no longer exist.

I can unlock it. You will have to send me the board. There is no magic trick
unless you already tried the PGM1 to Z1 method.

I had mixed results with this trick until I removed all the wires from the
main board (except the battery, one keypad, and the AC). Is it usually
necessary to go this far?

All that is required is to remove any wires on PGM1 & Z1 before you try it.

I merely copied Jim's implied phrasing. Nonetheless I don't believe such a
phrase is out of order in this case. The "PGM1 to Z1 Jumper" method is
detailed in the manuals, yes, but it can reasonably be described as part of
one's "bag of tricks."
