was messing with this alarm and now all I get is constant trouble light
on and only response from keypad is when I hit the away button the
program will flash on the LCD...I have tried to reset to default but
still acts the same....any suggestions or did I ruin it....keypad is a
LCD 5501Z fixed...thanks for any suggestions!!!

Check the connections between the control and the keypad.

It won't show what trouble when you hit *2?

got key pad working but my zone 5 which is motion sensor and zone 7
upstairs window are not programmed I guess..can anyone help!!! thanks

thanks for that...got it....says only get 6 zones but on the panel the
original installer has zone 7 as the upstairs window....the keypad is a
LCD5501Z and talks of a Z zone...I will read through it...thanks again!!

cool..ran a 903 got a 1 than 17....so I guess we have a zone 17 for the
window...neat stuff...thanks again!!!

No, the 17 indicates that a wireless receiver is present, either a separate
5132 or more likely the keypad has a built in wireless receiver (
5501Z-433).

I set up zone 7 as a wireless zone but still not seeing it....do have
the 5501Z-433

Did you enter the serial number for any wireless transmitters that you
have?, my advice is to read the manuals first and ask questions later
