Italian 12" porcelain tiles from Lowes. We should have used a darker
grout though, it gets dirty rather quickly because of our large dogs.
Also, while the "distressed look" makes for a great appearance dirt gets
into those little crevices on the tiles and we had to buy a little
machine to clean that.

Yeah, white grout is for bathrooms. The only other place I like
tile is a foyer, and that needs something like slate. Lighter
colors just don't work, IMO.

I put it down, so get veto power. Sometimes a pocket veto, but a
veto none the less. ;-)
