Hi all.... I am new here and I have a very keen interest in anything electronics
I need help with an idea I have.
I am wanting to build a digital thermostat with an LCD display to display the actual ambient temperature and the set thermostat temperature. For example I keep pet bearded dragons an I want a device that will show the ambient temperate inside the enclosure on the LCD and I want to have 2 push buttons to change the thermostat temperature just like this video here
I want the circuit to have no need for calibration so a thermister may be out of the question. So what I am asking for is a circuit schematic and if it is PIC controlled then I will need the code to program it.
The 2 push buttons will change the temperature for example one button will lower the temperature by 0.2 degrees each time it is pressed and one will increase te temperature by 0.2 degrees each time it is pressed.
I need a temperature range from +20 degrees to +40 degrees.
I hope I have give you all enough info for now but if you need more, just ask
Thanks in andvance,
Rob
