Converting 110v Trafo To 220v Version

Just put a diode in the power line. This works for resistance loads only. I used it on a heater and it reduced the heat by 50%.

that would've been an good solution indeed. but i already added the 220v to 110v transformer in the heat gun and it seemes to work fine.
