Check the phase sequence of 3-phase electricity with multimeter

Can I use the multimeter to detect the phase sequence of three-phase electricity? I want to know if it is possible? If so, how can I do?

The issue really only arises when wiring up motors. The general practice is to wire it up and if the motor spins in the wrong direction, reverse two of the phase wires.

Any other application is non-specific in terms of phase.

All three phase installs in Aus these days must adhere to phase rotation and colour coding, motors or not.
