Cheap Motion sensors , chinese I think

I bought and use quite a lot of movement sensors to trigger my spotlights at night .
I have been playing for ages trying to make the delay time shorter . The shortest I can get is 3 minutes and I want it to be 1 1/2,one and a half minutes. i'm guessing its a resistor capacitor bleed somewhere but I can't find it

here is the ebay purchase http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Automati...-Lamp-light-/262690109986?hash=item3d298cfa22

and here the datasheet on the chip inside .http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datash.../BISS0001/+57744UCRC/1wIuU-ABN+/datasheet.pdf

Its in chinese and I can't read it or get the pdf file to a translator.

Can someone maybe have a read and give me a clue please?
The below is a board i have played with . There should be resistors at RT and R14 I have removed these trying to half the resistance on another board.

what is the U1 chip ?

14 pins? If so, it's probably a quad op-amp. The output of the sensor is the difference between the signals from 2 IR sensors. It quite likely has 2 stages of amplification, a threshold detector and a pulse extender.

If it's a 16 pin device, it may be an M7616P, a dedicated PIR chip.

edit: it's 16 pin!

According to the ebay listing the delay time is "60-120mS*. Do you believe that?
My guess is that either of the two electrolytic caps nearest to the PIR sensor is the timing cap. You could try substituting a lower value cap.

Turning the pot right down gets it down to 3 minutes . Turning it up seems to get up past 15 minutes so maybe they mean million seconds? Ill try that . The resistor next to one is called RT . That was my first pick but halving it did nothing. I also tried halving R14

Sure, I'm lying.

Perhaps you can tell us the part number of the IC?

I checked the link after seeing your post and it was up for me . Looking today and its temporarily down as you have gotten. It will come back up no doubt.

The part number is BISS0001 . Ill try attach the pdf. This Forum is a good site ,it lets you upload what you want to.

Thanks. If only we knew earlier...

The datasheet in question is available in English (it's also the first hit on Google when you search by the part number)

Here (thanks to Lady Ada)

Edit: it's hard to post links from Google that work consistently. Here is the file:

RV1 is about 150K from memory . Ill check when I get home. Zero on minimum time.

Thanks for that *steve* I couldn't get another anywhere so your search avenues are different to mine in Australia. That makes it a whole lot clearer and it has a daylight sensor i did not know about. Been buying those separately.

Hopefully that should solve the issue.

I don't use Google . You don't say where you are sushine . Well not clearly anyway.
Try the link now . Looks like a forum sitter /troll
Cheeky little bastard though.
Perhaps you are in one of those legal dope states.
