Charging a phone battery

Hi all,
I recently got a Samsung phone battery from my damaged phone. The battery works well but I don't know how to charge it without my phone. I got a battery charger from my power bank which delivers 4.2v. I am not sure whether it is safe to use this. I have enclosed the images of both my battery and the charger module. If it is safe , plz also mention the way I must connect it.

These batteries usually have more than 2 Terminals on them, some of the terminals are for protection against Over Charging and Over Heating. PREVENTS FIRE or EXPLOSION.
So they should be charged with a Proper Charger designed for them.

Phone batteries usually have more than 2 terminals. 3, 4 or more are used for various purposes like e,g, temperature sending, indication of battery size or even integrated battery management.
While it may work charging the battery using only the "+" and "-" terminals, I personally consider this not safe unless you take additional (external) measures to monitor the battery (voltage, temperature) and to keep charge current to within safe limits.

Check if there is (+), (-) polarity markings in the phone.

Arrow terminal appears to be the bti , other 2 are marked on top.
However, correct charger must be used not just everyday power supply.

As others say, charge it in the phone.

Appears to be a cheap one on Ebay.......

Thank you for the reply. I was also concerned about the safety as I dont know much about rechargeable ones. I thought that it was safe as I took the charging module from a power bank but not sure whether it has a cut off feature. Is there any other alternate ways of charging it?

Thank you for suggesting me this product. This can be a better alternative for charging these batteries but I wanted the charger to be small so that I can mount them in the enclosure of my portable projects.

Thank you so much sir. But I am looking for a charger that is small and portable (similar to a LiPo battery charging board).

Then use that LiPo charging board you prefer for your phone 'battery' , which is not a battery, it is a single cell, and find out your way to mate the contacts.
If you have the leftovers of your damaged phone, cut off and use its plastic craddle with proper contacts installed inside your project, that will accept/lodge it securely
