Can anyone help with tuning a Hitachi tv (model C2164TN)

Hi, have been given an older Hitachi tv to use in a spare room. Problem
is i dont know how to tune it! Does anyone know how to get the tuning
menu up on screen?

post a model number and maybe we can help you better. I don't know
weather to tell you to turn the VHF knob on the side, or to push buttns
on youor remote similar to those on a calculator or telephone. I have
never seen a television set where you needed a menu to tune in
channels, just use a knob or push buttons.

Our Hitachi you have to press and hold the menu button on the remote untill
it adds the install menu
